[ita] Anche quest'anno il Festival GRAFFI ha avuto una buonissima partecipazione; abbiamo ricevuto lavori da molti paesi e di qualità notevole. Ringraziamo tutti per la fiducia accordataci. Program

DAY 1: ROME to DELHI
Flight from Rome Airport, with AirIndia, direct flight: Time: 19.40 to 7.15 (+1)
DAY 2: DELHI to GUWAHATI
Flight at 9.30am and reach at 12.10 pm
Transfer to hotel in Guwahati and stay by the Brahmaputra River. Lunch at the hotel and relax day.
DAY 3: GUWAHATI to MAWLINONG
We start early morning to reach Mawlinong in the evening. Mawlinong is considered one of the cleanest village in Asia, and it is home to the Khasi tribe. Overnight in Mawlinong.
DAY 4: MAWLINONG to DAWKI
Early morning, we start the trip towards the Dawki river, we have lunch close to the river and we come back in the evening. Stay in Mawlinong.
DAY 5: MAWLINONG to SHILLONG
Start the trip to Mawlinong and reach Shillong for lunch time. Stay over at Shillong and relax evening time in Shillong.
DAY 6: SHILLONG
Explore Shillong city and leave from Shillong in the afternoon. Sleep in Kaziranga.
DAY 7: KAZIRANGA
Safari early morning in Kaziranga. Afternoon walk towards the river and boat trip in the chapori islands. Sunset on the river.
DAY 8: KAZIRANGA to MAJULI
Breakfast in Kaziranga and move forward Majuli just after breakfast. Check in the typical Mishing bamboo cottage and typical lunch in the guest house. Visit in the evening.
DAY 9: MAJULI
Exploring the culture of the place and the Mishing tribes. Overnight in Majuli.
DAY 10: MAJULI – JORHAT to KOHIMA
Start early from Majuli. toLunch close to Jorhat and then reach Kohima by evening. Stay night in Kohima in the pre-booked hotel.

DAY 11: HORNBILL FESTIVAL - KOHIMA
You will be taken for the festival in Kisama Heritage Village where you will spend the rest of the day witnessing folk songs, dances and locals wearing colourful traditional attire. You can also visit shops and pick up souvenirs as a memento. Lunch at the festival where you can taste some local cuisine of Nagaland. You will also be taken to visit Phesama village on your way back to Kohima followed by an overnight stay.
DAY 12: HORNBILL FESTIVAL - KOHIMA
After breakfast you will be taken to explore Kigwema village, where you will go for a village walk where you get to see some of the old traditional architect house and experience the life of villagers.Later, you will be taken to the Hornbill festival. You can witness fascinating and ethnic culture of the Nagas through this festival. You can also participate in the night carnival at Kohima where you can see people selling different items from Christmas decorations to chicken barbecue. This infect is one of the most interesting aspect of the carnival, the entire street will be filled with lights and flooded with people. After the fun affair, head back to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 13: HORNBILL FESTIVAL
Explore Kohima town and local market, got o visit Jakham village in the afternoon and after lunch go straight to khonoma. It will take you about one and half hour drive from Kohima to khonoma.
DAY 14: KHONOMA
After breakfast go for a walk in khonoma village where you get to witness the traditional way of life. Have a local lunch prepared with local delicacies, and go to visit the Khonoma fort, morungs and get to listen to the mesmerising folktales of the village.On last day you can go for a nature walk towards the place where jhum cultivation is practiced. Later you will also be taken to see the state animal of Nagaland Mithun. Towards the end of the day you will be entertained with some indigenous games demonstrated by the local youth and thereafter we shall try the locally prepared brew. Dinner and overnight at the Khonoma Homestay.
DAY 15: KHONOMA to DIMAPAUR
Right after breakfast around 7:00 am check out from khonoma homestays. It will take about 4 hours from khonoma to reach Dimapur. Taking the flight back to Delhi.
Dimapur to Delhi 12.45, reach Delhi at 7.20 - Trasfer to Hotel
DAY 16: DELHI-ROME
Flight with AirIndia at 14.20, reach Rome at 18.00

PERIODO: dal 20 al 23 Dicembre 2017

LOCATIONS:  Il Bibliofilo – San Giorgio del Sannio (BN)

I luoghi, le date e gli orari definitivi, potrebbero subire delle variazioni dopo la diffusione del bando, qualsiasi cambiamento sarà comunicato agli autori tempestivamente.

IntimaLente è una manifestazione culturale che tende a promuovere il cinema e le culture visive in tutte le sue forme, a tal fine nell’evento sono presenti sia sezioni competitive che non competitive.

SEZIONI

IL si propone di diventare la voce del cinema documentario a vocazione etnografica, ma non disdegnerà, in futuro, di creare una sezione dedicata ai lungo e corto metraggi.

Accanto ad eventuali retrospettive creative sul cinema tout court, il festival apre due sezioni competitive destinate esclusivamente all’immagine.

Visti da vicino, visti da lontano: concorso di video, videoart, documentari, cortometraggi e filmati con un taglio etno-antropologico (per la prima edizione accettiamo lavori senza limiti di durata e realizzati anche da oltre cinque anni)

Phototales: concorso dedicato alla foto-narrazione, saranno accettati racconti fotografici realizzati da un minimo di cinque fotogrammi con un massimo di 30.

IL ospiterà una serie di iniziative finalizzate a creare un legame tra il pubblico e le diverse realtà cinematografiche diffuse per il paese ed oltre. È previsto uno spazio in cui saranno ospitate visioni fuori concorso, presentazioni di eventi e iniziative cinematografiche, incontri e dibattiti con autori e professionisti del settore.

Saranno supportate anche iniziative di Enti, scuole, associazioni culturali o altre realtà che vorranno proporre una loro visione cinematografica. Chiunque volesse presentare la sua proposta per usufruire di questo spazio può scrivere a asso.brio@gmail.com.

L’organizzazione potrà decidere di sospendere le sezioni per cui non arrivasse materiale sufficiente e/o meritevole.

MODALITÀ DI PARTECIPAZIONE

IL è sensibile alle problematiche ambientali legate al trasporto postale per questo ha scelto come modalità di invio dei filmati esclusivamente la rete. I lavori (video o racconti fotografici) dovranno essere caricati su una piattaforma internet scelta dall’utente (dropbox, ecc.) o inviati attraverso un servizio di scambio dati (wetranfer, ecc.).

Contestualmente al caricamento online dovrà essere inviata una mail a asso.brio@gmail.com specificando l’indirizzo web da cui è possibile scaricare l’opera e allegando necessariamente ad essa:

·         la scheda di partecipazione e la liberatoria scaricabile dal sito, obbligatoriamente compilata in ogni sua parte e firmata (scansione);

·         tre immagini rappresentative dell’opera in formato jpeg con risoluzione minima 72 dpi (lato lungo 2048 pixel);

·         (facoltativa) una dichiarazione dell’Autore sul lavoro presentato al festival (max una cartella dattiloscritta);

·         (facoltativo) il link di un trailer scaricabile e/o visionabile on line, da utilizzare come promo.

L’iscrizione a IL è gratuita e senza limiti di età. Le opere e le relative schede dovranno essere inviate al festival entro la mezzanotte del 8 Dicembre 2017, pena l’esclusione.

I filmati inviati non saranno restituiti ed entreranno a far parte dell'archivio della segreteria del Festival. La direzione del Festival si riserva il diritto di promuovere e diffondere alcune opere (a suo insindacabile giudizio) anche presso altri Festival, Enti, e manifestazioni, previo avviso all’autore.

FORMATO DELLE OPERE

Le opere partecipanti a IL dovranno avere i seguenti formati:

·         i video dovranno essere inviati in formato Mpg4 o MOV, con una risoluzione di 1920 x 1080 il file caricato non dovrà superare il peso di 1 GB (per questioni organizzative, le opere di peso superiore non possono essere scaricate - l’autore è responsabile delle scelte musicali);

·         i racconti fotografici dovranno essere composti da immagini fotografiche in formato .jpg secondo la sequenza desiderata, montate in una sorta di clip con o senza musica (vedi specifiche per i video – l’autore è responsabile delle scelte musicali).

NORME GENERALI

Tutte le spese di spedizione sono a carico del partecipante.

Pur assicurando la massima cura per le opere si declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali smarrimenti o danneggiamenti da qualsiasi causa essi siano generati.

La selezione del materiale visivo verrà effettuata a insindacabile giudizio dell’organizzazione del festival, direttamente o tramite modalità da essa decisa. I vincitori delle singole sezioni verranno determinati da una giuria qualificata, nominata

dall’organizzazione stessa.

I premi verranno consegnati ai registi/fotografi presenti alla serata conclusiva del Festival o a loro persone di fiducia delegate a riceverli oppure recapitati.

Alla Direzione del Concorso spetta il giudizio finale su casi controversi e su quanto non previsto dal presente regolamento.

Con l’iscrizione al concorso, ogni singolo autore risponde del contenuto delle sue opere ed autorizza esplicitamente Associazione B.R.I.O. ad effettuare duplicazioni e proiezioni delle opere presentate, esclusivamente a fini culturali/promozionali e per la stampa.

Le opere che non rispondono ai criteri previsti dal bando o inviate senza rispettare le direttive da esso indicate verranno escluse dal concorso.

La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione integrale del presente regolamento.

La mancata accettazione del regolamento comporterà l’automatica esclusione dal concorso.

I dati dei partecipanti servono esclusivamente per una corretta gestione organizzativa del concorso e per garantirne la regolarità. L’Ente Organizzatore garantisce che tali dati non verranno utilizzati per altri scopi e non saranno ceduti in nessun caso a terzi.

COMUNICAZIONE

Tutte le comunicazioni relative alle serate festival, orari di proiezione, e selezione dei finalisti saranno pubblicate sul sito della manifestazione e/o sulla pagina FB del festival.  I vincitori verranno avvisati personalmente per il ritiro dei premi e verrà inviata una mail a conferma della corretta iscrizione a tutti i partecipanti.

IntimaLente is a cultural event that tends to promote cinema and visual cultures in all its forms, for this reason there are both competitive and non-competitive sections in the event.

SECTIONS

IL proposes to become the voice of documentary film with an ethnographic vocation but will not deny in the future to create a section dedicated to long and short films. Along with any creative retrospective on the cinema tout court, the festival opens two competitive sections destined exclusively to the image.

Seen up Close, Seen from Afar: contest for video, videoart, documentaries, short films and movies with an ethno-anthropological cut (for the first edition we accept works without limits of time and realized for over five years)

Phototales: a photo competition, a photo-tales where we’ll be accepted works from a minimum of 5 frames with a maximum of 30.

HOW TO TAKE PART

IL is sensitive to the environmental issues associated with postal shipment for this we chose to recive videos exclusivelyfrom the network. Works (video or photo-tales) will have to be uploaded to a user-selected internet platform (dropbox, etc.) or sent via a data exchange service (wetranfer, etc.).

At the same time loading online should be sent an email to asso.brio@gmail.com specifying the web address from which we can download the work and necessarily attaching to it:

·         the application form and the release downloaded from the site, mandatorily filled in and signed (scanning);

·         three representative images of the work in jpeg format with a minimum resolution of 72 dpi - 2048 pixels long side);

·         (no mandatory) a declaration of the author on the work presented at the festival (maximum one typewritten page);

·         (no mandatory) a link to download a trailer and/or viewable online, to use as a promo.

IL signing up is free and no age limit. The works and their cards should be sent to the festival by midnight on December 8th, 2017, under penalty of exclusion.

The movies will not be returned and will become part of the archive of the Festival office. The direction of the Festival reserves the right to promote and spread some works (in its absolute discretion) also at other festivals, organizations, and events.

FORMAT

Participating works in IL will have the following formats:

·         The videos will be posted in MPG4 format or MOV, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (we will not accept movies with a size less than 720 x 576), the uploaded file should not exceed the weight of 1 GB;

·         The phototales should be composed of photographic images in .jpg format numbered in the desired sequence, mounted in a sort of clip with or without music (see video specifications - the author is responsible for music choices).

RULES

·         All shipping costs are under the responsibility of the participant.

·         Although ensuring the greatest care for the works we assume no responsibility for any loss or damage from any cause they are generated.

·         The selection of visual material will be made at the discretion of the organization of the festival, either directly or through a procedure which it decided. The winners of each section will be determined by a qualified jury, appointed by the organization itself.

·         The awards will be given filmmakers/photographers present at the closing night of the Festival or their trusted people delegated to receive them.

·         The Direction of Competition has the final judgment on controversial cases and on matters not covered by this Release.Taking part in the competition, each author is responsible for the content of his work and explicitly authorizes Associazione B.R.I.O. perform duplication and screenings of the works presented, exclusively for cultural/promotional and the press.

·         The works that does not answer the conditions required in the notice or sent without complying with the directives it has indicated will be excluded from the competition.

·         Taking in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.

·         The failure to accept the Rules will result in automatic exclusion.

·         The data of the participants are used exclusively for the correct organizational management of the competition and to ensure its regularity. The Organizer guarantees that such data will not be used for any other purpose and will not be sold under any circumstances to third parties.

All communications related to the festival, screening times, and selection of finalists will be published on the website and/or Festival FB pages. The winners will be notified by the withdrawal of the prizes and will be sent an email to confirm correct entry to all participants.
